The short list of three contenders for the writing prize has been announced. The final stage of judging is actively underway and the winner will be announced at the award ceremony and festival launch party on 27th September.

The three contenders are:

Gail Aldwin - This Much Huxley Knows

Philip Beale - Atlantic BC

Tess Burnett - The Hanging of Hattie Gale
