Former Laureate, and Britain's only ever female Poet Laureate enthralled the packed theatre at Thomas Hardye School Theatre on Saturday night, reading and discussing her latest work. 'This was a wonderful way to close the festival - a real highpoint of our best ever festival,' said Co Director Janet Gleeson.

Thank you so much for inviting me to Dorchester, and looking after me so well. You and Paul run a great tight ship there and I was honoured to be a part of it this year.

My wife and I really enjoyed our first visit to DLF to hear Henry Bloefeld. Having looked through the programme further we wished we should have chosen more, but at least we shall try to get the books via the Library. Looking forward to seeing next year’s programme.
