Sir Oliver Letwin - Desert Island Books

In conversation with Paul Atterbury

Sir Oliver Letwin served as MP for West Dorset from 1997-2019. He was a member of the Conservative Party but sat as an independent after having the whip removed in September 2019. Sir Oliver recently published Apocalypse How a distopian picture of what distasters might happen if the technology on which we depend fails.

In conversation with DLF Co Director Paul Atterbury Sir Oliver will choose and discuss the eight favourite books that have inspired him through different stages of his life and he would take with him to a Desert Island.

This Year's Events

Thank YOU for hosting us so brilliantly on Sunday. Dad and I had a great time and were both really impressed by the very smooth running of your festival. It was a total pleasure being there with you, Helen, and the team. Congrats to all concerned on a job well done. It was fun to be a part of it.
